TAKING HEARING CARE
TO THE NEXT LEVEL

MISSION

By providing local access to state-of-the-art hearing aid technology to a fast-growing market of active users, the ActiveHearing Group strives to establish a leadership position in all countries where it operates.

WHO WE ARE

ActiveHearing Group is a specialist hearing-aid retailer with a strong presence across Southern Europe. In 2023, MCH Private Equity (mch.es) acquired AudiçãoActiva (Portugal) and has since been actively supporting the Group’s expansion into Spain and Italy.

MCH PRIVATE EQUITY

MCH is an independent Private Equity firm, a front-runner in the middle market sector since 1998. MCH is involved in many international projects, with wide experience in many different markets.

MCH´s primary objective is to assist promising companies in appealing industries, helmed by proficient management teams, in realizing their potential through global expansion. MCH offers financial backing and actively engages in various aspects throughout the investment’s lifecycle.

AudiçãoActiva (Portugal) was founded in 2014 by entrepreneurs with more than five decades of combined experience in the hearing-aid retail market. Since then, it has rapidly grown to become Portugal’s leading hearing-care provider, with a nationwide network of over 60 shops.

This remarkable growth stems from a distinctive business model built on three pillars: highly effective marketing, personalized and professional hearing-care services, and exceptional customer support. Together, these elements have positioned AudiçãoActiva as the benchmark for hearing-aid retail in Portugal.

International Presence

In 2025, ActiveHearing Group expanded its footprint into the Spanish and Italian markets, building on its proven leadership in Portugal’s hearing-care sector. With the launch of AudiciónActiva in Spain and UditoAttivo in Italy, the Group brings together advanced hearing technology and professional care, delivering modern, effective, and highly personalized solutions.

By combining innovation with attentive service, AudiciónActiva and  UditoAttivo ensure that every client’s hearing journey is tailored to their needs and lifestyle. Backed by a strong growth strategy, the Group is committed to achieving rapid market share gains and establishing itself as one of the leading players in Spain and Italy within the next three years.

HEARING AIDS − A GROWING MARKET

According to the World Health Organization, by 2050 nearly 2.5 billion people will have some degree of hearing loss and at least 700 million will require hearing rehabilitation.
The population is constantly growing and aging, and it is even more necessary to supply better hearing aid solutions that focus on long-term quality of life.

By identifying and anticipating growing macro-trends in the global hearing aids retail market, the ActiveHearing Group aims to consistently provide active ways of using hearing aids and improving longevity.
